"It's nice of your parents to let me come over," Miabella told Minho as she sat on his bed while he took a chair in his room. "I just had to get out of the house." Miabella looked at the various Korean posters that her friend had on the walls, only able to read a minimal amount on some of them. Sure, her Korean was improving, but it definitely wasn't up to par to have a conversation with. She sighed; it was strange how Minho's house was more of a home to her than her own, despite everything in sight here being foreign or incomprehensible.

Minho offered Miabella a glass of OJ silently; his parents were over the moon that he even had a friend. In their opinion Minho talked way too little for a growing teen, he was popular sure, but that was for his athletic prowess, not his ability to hold a conversation.

Mia gratefully accepted the glass of juice and sipped at it. "I mean...well...you know what's going on," she tried to explain the situation even further, but she realized that it was along the same lines of anything that she tried to tell him before. "Dad left again and hasn't come back." She put the glass on a side table and sighed, lying back on his bed. "And...Well...you know me. I come here asking for a hug."

Minho nodded, his small turtle like smile on his lips. He was the tall lanky one; everyone was always pining for hugs, lifts and high fives from the teen. "You know you're always welcome here." And it was the truth, his parents were always bothering him with questions about Mia, they would be more than happy to see more of her. He held out his arms and sat on his bed, waiting for the girl.

Miabella smiled and sat up, wrapping her arms around Minho in a tight embrace. She loved the fact that no matter what he was doing, Minho was always available for a confidante and a hug. It was one of the things that established their friendship, he thought. But hugging him this time felt different to her for some odd reason. She normally felt like she was hugging a stuffed bear or a pillow, but this time...she felt like she was hugging a boyfriend. She didn't know; she was weird. But when the thought of him smelling good passed her mind, she pulled away; this was too weird. This was *Minho* she was talking about, not some candidate for Sexiest Man Alive.

Minho had begun to secretly enjoy hugs lately, his growing body craving the personal closeness. He was very, very good at keeping his face from showing the way it wandered when he was close though, especially with Mia, the only girl that hugged him. He furrowed his brow when she pulled away prematurely; he was hoping for a little while longer being the bear he loved to be. "What?" he asked quietly.

"Nothing," she told him, hoping he would take the bait. She felt stupid for pulling away, but she knew he would only get suspicious if she leaned in to hug him again. Her heart was beating faster, and she could tell her breathing was at least a little heavier as well. "Don't worry about it."

Minho felt her breathe before he heard it, like a good boy he put his hand against her forehead to check that she didn't have a temperature. "Are you feeling okay?" he asked, his wide brown eyes looking at Mia filled with worry.

"Fine," Miabella reassured him, taking his hand off of her forehead and holding it in hers for a moment. Minho's skin was really soft...smooth, too. "Come on. Lay with me," she suggested, scooting up on the bed and laying down on her back. She could see Minho's eyes widen in shock, and she laughed in response. "I'm not asking you to do anything inappropriate, Minho, just lay down."

He scooted beside her, resisting leaning on his headboard like he liked to sit and slid down until his head rest in the crook of his arm. He was being a good boy and making sure their bodies weren't touching more than they needed too. Hugging was one thing, but this felt different, almost intimate.

"There," Miabella said finally after Minho had lain down. "Doesn't that feel so much better?" she asked him, gently poking him in the chest. It certainly made her feel better; lying next to Minho made it feel like all of her troubles melted away. There was something about the Korean man that was almost therapeutic. However, looking into his eyes, she realized it was going to be really hard to keep from kissing him.

Minho shifted uncomfortably, this actually felt weird, he could feel her body heat, and it wasn't like the normal warmth of a hug, he could always measure it, feel it against him, but it was as if it were teasing him, daring him to get closer for their skin to touch. These thoughts made Minho's dark eyes glaze over, the look only there for a moment before he realized how wrong those thoughts were.

Miabella kept her eyes on Minho, moving the slightest bit closer to her friend. "I...I really like you, Minho," she admitted to him. He could take the phrase two different ways; romantically, or platonically. She hoped that he would take the latter, but a small part of her wished he would take the former.

Minho had been told many stories about confessions by his mother, tales of love letters, flowers and things like that. So what Mia just said sort of threw him off. Was this her confessing attraction? "A-are you confessing?" he asked, his body subconsciously moving closer to hers without his permission.

Miabella swallowed, knowing that she had gone too far to let her courage catch up with her. However, she found it best that she admit her feelings to Minho now before there was trouble of any kind. "Y-yes," she confirmed, her face flushing with color as she looked away from his face and concentrated on something else...like his chest.

Minho nodded slowly, after all of his mothers 'prepping' he had never known what to do if a woman actually confessed; all he knew is that a girl confessed and then she lived happily ever after. He sat there slightly stunned 'what do I do?' he thought to himself, not realizing he said it aloud also.
"Maybeyoucouldkissme?" Miabella asked quickly, the words mushing together. She knew he probably wouldn't be able to understand the jumble, but she had to try.

Minho didn't quite get all of what she said, but he did catch 'kiss'. His cheeks reddened and that little turtle smile returned, shy about the whole thing. But from what he had read it was traditional for the man to kiss the girl, but he wasn't sure he was brave enough for that. So he settled for grabbing her hand and placing a kiss on top, accepting her feelings.

The small kiss to her hand was enough to drive Miabella over the edge. She pulled her hand back to herself, causing Minho to acquire a confused expression. She smoothly leaned up to him and pressed her lips to his, holding his hand in hers. 'Please let me have this moment,' she thought to herself when their lips touch. 'Please don't let him reject me.'

When their lips touched, Minho's deep set eyes went wide, this was his first kiss, his first kiss with a girl. A girl he was best friends with. Was this right? A million thoughts flew through his head before one settled 'This is nice' he thought and his eyes fluttered closed, hesitantly returning the kiss.
Miabella inhaled sharply through her nose when she felt Minho kissing back. However, she didn't reject him; instead, she moved her hand so that her forearm was resting on his side, scooting her body a little closer to his so that their bodies were slightly touching.

It felt strange, the kiss felt like it was changing something about how they handled their friendship. The kiss was like a slowly charging magnet, urging the rest of them to get as close as their lips were.

Minho had never felt something like this, the mixture of comfort from being close that he loved with this new feeling. A deep, warm, appreciative noise formed in the back of his throat. It wasn't exactly lustful, just, Minho.

Miabella was in bliss; nothing had gone wrong from her kissing Minho; in fact, it had gone quite the opposite. She wished that it wouldn't stop, even though she knew it had to soon. A slight squeak escaped her as the warm noise came from him. However, it was shattered when they both heard Minho's bedroom door open. They ripped apart from each other and scurried to opposite sides of the bed as quickly as possible.

"/Omo my baby turtle is finally coming out of his shell!/" came the impossibly sharp noise of Minho's mothers voice, she looked excited, far more than any normal mother should be when catching her child for the first time making out with someone else. Minho cringed at the voice, expecting her to launch into some sort of tale or lecture any moment.

Since the woman was speaking Korean, Miabella had no idea whatsoever what was being said. She just smiled nervously and glanced at Minho, hoping to get a translation, being disappointed when she didn't get one.

"/Your appa is going to be so happy to hear about this!/" she cooed, patting both Mia and Minho's heads affectionately.

"/Hear about what!?/" the man asked from down the hall.

"/Minho and Miabella are together!/" the woman screamed, back. Even in Korean it was obvious when she said Mia and Minho in the same sentence.

"Umma..." Minho whined, wanting to correct her, his face flushing red at the idea.
Miabella felt her face burn when both of their names came out of Minho's mother's mouth. Even with the language barrier, she knew something was up; something embarrassing. "What did she say?" she asked Minho in a whisper despite her friend trying to get his mother's attention.

"She thinks we're together" Minho translated, his ears heating up when he thought that the conclusion may actually be correct now, they were just making out in his bed after all.

"I don't see a problem with us being together, do you?" Miabella asked Minho in a soft voice. She wanted him to approve the idea of the relationship as she really was attracted to him, but she wouldn't force it if he said no.

Minho realized that Mia didn't fully grasp what them being together went, in western culture dating was just dating. Here it was a precursor to engagement, marriage. His eyes bugged. "You don't understand..." he said gently, giving her a reasurring look to let her know that he would like very much to date her, if it wasn't going to be a huge burden on his part.

"What don't I understand?" Miabella asked, her eyebrows furrowed. Why was it such a big deal for Minho to be dating someone? There wasn't even a certainty that the relationship would even last. Unfortunately for Miabella, she personally had no idea about Korean culture before her parents moved her here; she'd had to figure things out the hard way.

"/Umma, may we have a moment alone to talk?/" Minho asked his mother, wanting the woman to leave so he could fully explain to Miabella just what dating him meant.

"/Oh yes, yes. I have to tell everyone the good news!/" the woman smiled and left the room in a flurry of skirt. Minho watched his mothers back leave with jaw dropping confusion, by the end of the day he could tell everyone would have some sort of Chinese whispers about what actually happened. He quickly got up and shut the door behind him, pressing his back against the wood and looking at Mia.

"Right now" he pointed through the door to where you could hear the excited mumbles of his mother on the phone "Umma... is telling everyone in town we are together..." he said this bit as if it didn't exactly bother him, what did bother him was "She'll have an engagement party if we don't stop her..."

"En-Engagement!?" Mia gasped, her eyes widening. She didn't want to get married, she was 16! There was so much more for her to do before she settled down! Was Minho's mother crazy? After a moment, she realized that no, she wasn't, because this is where Korean culture probably came in. However, if she did have to get married this early, she'd rather marry Minho than a complete stranger.

"Mnn" Minho nodded, the idea of marriage wasn't so terrifying, it was the wedding, the wedding speeches, the suit, the honey moon... the sex. All of it was completely out of Minho's comfort zone, if marriage meant he just had to wear a ring and take care of Mia that was one thing, but everything else? He didn't want to think about it. It was a couple of seconds later that Minho's father's heavy
hand knocked on the door, startling the teen leaning against it.

Miabella felt completely overwhelmed. If the wedding speeches were just not included in the whole process, she may have been fine, but she knew they weren't going to be. She may have to tell Minho to tell his mother to tell everyone to wear clothes they don't care about because food and drinks would probably be knocked all over the park. She jumped at the heavy knocking as well; what now?
Minho's father barged in a moment later, cradling a small, what looked like rolled up newspaper in his hands almost reverently.

"/These were the couple rings me and your umma wore when we were your age/" he said with a twinkle in his eye, unwrapping the paper to reveal two little silver rings.

"Oh god" Minho slumped down the wall, couple rings, while not engagement rings were just as good as saying  'I'm staying with this person forever!' at the top of ones lungs.

Miabella looked at the rings; there was one that was a plain silver band, but another that had a small little diamond on it. They were actually really pretty, and if it were any other day, she'd love to wear one of them, but the thing is, she didn't even know what couple rings were. "What?" she whispered to Minho when she saw the color practically drop out of his face.

"It's like an engagement ring... but different... Like, pre engagement?" He didn't know the English words were 'going steady' but he hoped that he got the point across well enough. He sighed as his father pressed the little bundle into his hands. He didn't have the balls to tell his parents where to go about the whole thing, they had been desperate for Minho to make friends, the idea of a girlfriend, a wife was having them in a near frenzy of excitement. And he knew they wanted to see baby Minhos around desperately.
So I though I'd post our Minhoverse RP... it does switch between script and story unfortunately due to laziness. But It's fun~
There are only two OC's, the rest are Kpop stars :3
Misti is based around Kate Moss (not me, I was just lazy in naming her XDD) and Mia is based around Ginnifer Goodwin and isn't my OC but the other players.

This is SO OOC XD but I decided to post it for the lulz.

Minhoverse relationship and character chart that is PRETTY much up to date HERE: [link]

Also scuse my australian spelling and my bad english, I'd like to say it's not my first language but yeah XD

The stuff between /'s is Korean (when around the English speaking Characters) and also indicates itallics occasionnally as a lot was done on my phone and my phone has no itallics XD.
