Leeteuk heard the gun go off, he felt Kyuhyun's consciousness waver, and he instinctively knew what happened.

No!

A sudden anger rose inside him. They couldn't both die! Not when Leeteuk had given his life to let Kyuhyun live. He felt Hangeng's presence at the other end of the room and he struggled, grappling with everything he had as he summoned all his power.

Hangeng! He cried inside his thoughts, calling to the angel. Heal us! You have to heal us, both of us! And hurry, please!

Hangeng jumped slightly, he hadn't heard anyone talk to him without actually speaking since he had been in heaven, he realized the voice belonged to Leeteuk and hastily stepped over to him, dropping down to his knees, his wings extended around them, knowing it would be worth protecting Leeteuk from anyone that may want to interfere in this museum.

"Let's see here..." he mumbled, putting his hand on Leeteuk's head as he had done to himself earlier in the night. But he realized that he didn't actually know how to use this ability, he never had to actually heal when he was in heaven.

"I-I... I really have no idea on how to do this" he said to Leeteuk, not expecting his body to talk back, but his mind. He could feel the lfe energy slipping from both of them, and wanted desperately to hold it in, he wanted to learn more about the two interesting men. And repay the favour they had done for him, and will probably continue to do for him now that he was stuck.

His brow furrowed in concentration, willing whatever power was inside him to unlock before either man slipped into death.

Kyuhyun curled in on himself, his face smiling. Leeteuk had whimpered, he had made noise.

Leeteuk is alive!

He cried tears of happiness, glad he would be able to die knowing Leeteuk was alive, and that he wouldn't hurt him any longer.

You have to wish for it . . . Leeteuk thought, feeling himself slipping as he teetered at the edge of life and death. You have to wish to heal with your entire being.

His body twitched slightly when Hangeng touched him.

Heal Kyuhyun first! He thought. Leeteuk still had quite a few minutes left. His body could live on it's own for a while longer, but Kyuhyun was dying. He needed to be healed quickly. I'll be alright for a few more minutes, but he's dying! Heal him first!

Hangeng flapped his wings and grabbed Leeteuk's leg, dragging the man towards where Kyuhyun was shaking violently, arms curled around his stomach.

The Seraphim pushed Kyuhyun onto his back with his foot, the vampire's eyes unfocused as he looked up in confusion, feeling a weight settle over his legs along with the soft feeling of the black wings he loved to feel so much.

Hangeng had placed Leeteuk's ragdoll of a form on Kyuhyun. Intending to heal them both.

"Foolish child, doesn't that hurt?" he said kneeling, his finger prodding the gaping hole, he didn't understand the sentiment of suicide, it was stupid and got people nowhere, except a one way ticket to eternal pain.

Kyuhyun flinched, his fingers curling around the spot on Leeteuk's wings in a purely instinctual manner, thinking the angel was about to kill him.

Hangeng's hand rested over the injury, his other gently on Leeteuk. He closed his eyes and wished, wished with his whole being, with every fibre in his angellic body that the two would live, that they would heal.

It felt like the world stopped to Hangeng, a white hot light surrounding his wings as the last bit of his holy power worked for him.

Leeteuk's eyes flew open, his veins seeming to produce blood by themselves as his body healed and he felt himself growing stronger and was blinded by a pure white light.

He felt Kyuhyun underneath him and looked down, his heart lifting as he saw the wound on the younger man's stomach closing. He managed a tired smile, hardly able to believe what they had gone through in such a short span of time.

"K-Kyuhyun . . ." He murmured, reaching up to run his fingers through the chocolate curls he loved so much. He was so glad the younger man was alive, but he was definitely going to have reprimand him for trying to commit suicide.

"No" Kyuhyun whimpered as the silver bullet pulled back up through his stomach, being caught in the hand of the pure angel healing him. He shouldn't be saved, he was dangerous! Couldn't either of them see that?

When the hole closed up and Leeteuk spoke his name, he felt his heart almost burst, knowing Leeteuk was fine, alive and speaking.

"Why?" he croaked out as his energy slowly returned to him.

Hangeng stood and examined the silver bullet curiously, surprised something so small could take the life of someone away, if he had his way, these weapons would not exist.

"It's not your time yet." Leeteuk said softly, still a bit weak. "You were just made a vampire yesterday. Kyuhyun." He chuckled. "There's no way you would've gained control over your needs already. Most vampires take weeks, maybe even months, before they get control."

Leeteuk pushed himself to his knees, feeling a bit stiff, but whole. He glanced down at Kyuhyun and smiled, holding out a hand as he stood.

"Come on." He smiled.

Kyuhyun took the hand Leeteuk offered, feeling his stomach muscles cramp from the sudden healing as he stood.

"But I nearly killed you... I did, I mean if Hangeng weren't here..." Kyuhyun's hands were still shaking slightly, he didn't want to feel that again, to feel Leeteuk's last drop of lifeblood pass his lips, to see Leeteuk unmoving because of him. Even if his blood was the best thing he had ever tasted.

"But I was" Hangeng only smiled, clenching the bullet in his hand as he looked at Kyuhyun.

"I've come closer to death before than that." Leeteuk said softly, his eyes glazed over as he remembered. "I know that you're thinking this is all your fault, but you forget that I gave myself up willingly, knowing that you couldn't control yourself."

He pulled Kyuhyun closer. "And then you had the audacity to go and try to commit suicide after I gave my life to save you."

Leeteuk chuckled, nuzzling his face in Kyuhyun's hair. "I will never understand your thought process, Cho Kyuhyun." He smirked and pulled back. "It wasn't your fault."

Kyuhyun knew Leeteuk didn't understand him, it wasn't the first time Leeteuk had told him so.

He thought he made perfect sense, Leeteuk didn't need to give his blood, his life. He could have just held Kyuhyun down or transported him somewhere to feed. Hell he would have preferred the angel fight him, or kill him over having the chance to take a life.

He had to admit though, he was glad Leeteuk was alive, and glad he was alive to be there with him. He snuffled and wiped a bloody tear from under his eye and simply nodded, not about to apologize when he had thought it was right at the time.

"So very strange" Hangeng whispered to himself "Is this how you always behave?" he wondered, if this level of danger and drama was normal in this world. Unused to things like attraction, violence, sadness or pain.

"More or less." Leeteuk said in answer to Hangeng's question. He smiled at Kyuhyun and then looked back to the Seraphim. "But, why are you still here? Why didn't you go back to heaven? I mean, it's good that you were here to save us, but why don't you go back?"

Leeteuk had been wondering this since Hangeng reappeared. And then a sudden thought hit him, what if Hangeng couldn't go back? What if he had been condemned to Earth?

Was he one of the fallen?

"I can't be sure. They let me back in to set Inyoung down" he explained to the dark angel, letting him know his sister made it back safely.

"But the moment I tried to land, it was as if the world was nothing but cloud, opening up underneath me and expelling me... I could not return" his wings drooped, showing his was sad that he couldn't see the beautiful people and angels he was accustomed to, the gold paved roads and the beautiful scenery. He wanted to go home.

He was positive that he had not done something wrong, not seeing that he was being taught a lesson; he had wanted to explore the world, and now he could. He wanted it and it was exactly what he had gotten. Free to experience pain, pleasure, love, hate, war.

As if it were a test to make sure the angel was as pure as he would be in heaven.

Leeteuk breathed a sigh of relief as he heard that Inyoung was safe. But when he listened to the rest of Hangeng's story he was confused. The way he spoke it sounded so innocent, as if the Seraphim had no idea what was going on.

"It sounds like you're being tested." Leeteuk said. He remembered a story he had heard about an angel who had fallen from heaven a few years back. He had been put through a test to see if his purity would stand in the face of adversity, but the angel's sanity had cracked just a few weeks in and he had been condemned to the earth forever.

Comparing situations, it seemed as if this exact thing was happening to Hangeng.

"Tested?" Hangeng guessed it was so, he knew that most people earthbound were being tested in some way, so much sin, temptation, but he was pure from the beginning, this was only sure to corrupt that.
